DESCRIPTION:
E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 89 Regulator" wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in an oak case with painted metal dial and PRR logo and STANDARD TIME on the glass, c1895
CONDITION:
the case has an old refinish with a slightly glossy appearance and is dated on the backboard above the movement 2-1895. There is a hole that has been drilled and plugged on the left side. The door lock is replaced. The original movement has replaced mounting brackets. There is an old repair to base of keystone and the rating assembly is now 1/2" too long to fit tie down. The dial signature is worn and has flaking around mounting screws and some minor inpaint. The Pennsylvania Rail Road decal is applied on front glass above reverse painted Standard Time. Ht 65"
